How did the filming go?
I believe that the filming went well and we worked well as a team. I also believed once we got use to how to film we become quite quickly however still production quite high quality shots that were quiet close to what the original shots looked like.
Was your storyboard accurate?
I believe are scoreboard was accurate however did not have enough detail as we did not have written down ideas for every single shot which made the filming harder. I also believe that we could have applied more of the details about filming that we have learnt about like mise en scene.
What were the strengths and weaknesses in the group?
I believe that we worked well as a group as we understood how we needed to shoot the shoots and how they were going to work. We also had a good time as we had jokes within the team this made us work well as it meant we did not get into arguments. However some of the weakness of the team was that we did not use the storyboard properly which meant that a lot of times are timings were out. Also some of our shots we could have put more thought into it to make it the closest possible likeness to the original footage.
Did you get all the footage you needed?
I believe that we did get all the footage we needed however some of the angles we had were not very close to the original. I believe that this is down to the fact that we did not use the storyboard properly as we did not realise how important a good storyboard is to made a good film opening.
What technical skills either camera or premiere did you learn? How does it compare to the original?
I learnt a lot about filming as i never used a camera to film before i have only ever used my I phone. I have learnt that even while filming you can zoom in and out. I also learnt that you have to keep the camera very still so the shot did not shake too badly.
For premiere I have learnt how to add multiple effects to a video clip i have also learnt about speeding up or slowing down a video clip so that it matched the original footage which was the hardest part of the edit as it meant i had a strict timings to keep to which was very hard as we still needed to make the shots seem the same speed as the original.
What went well- what I learnt- what I will take with me into the next production.
I believe that my editing went will however some of the transactions could have been better and closer to the original however I believe that i will get better as I edit more however this is the first footage I've filmed myself to edit as well. I have also learnt that i can add more than one film at the same time. I learnt this so I could have the original playing at the same time as the film I have edited.
I also believe that the quality of the film shots is good which I think is good.
I will take to the next production is to make sure that my storyboard has enough detail so i can film the shots with more ease. I also could look though the effects and transitions in more detail so I could have more accurate effects so that it looks better and more professional.
